The best critique of Occupy Wallstreet I’ve ever seen.
“You are not poor because the [1%] are rich. You are poor because the federal government has taken up all the oxygen of success in the room.” - Judge Andrew Napolitano

I feel like I posted this before but I can’t find the post. So here it is. I love the b-roll material but the interview shot is terrible. Aside from the talking head shot, I get a real sense of what it is like to hang out with Charles.
The the cafe he’s at is the Rosebud. I miss hanging out there.

One guy insisted that I film his friend attempt to buy lemonade from a street vendor. The girl at the end of this video lectured me on the illegality of filming people at a public protest. She was from The Occupy Boston Globe. Curiously, people...

I understand why #occupy uses the metaphors they do. They’re borrowing from the Civil Rights Movement. They understand oppression and they’re comfortable with that metaphor for telling a story. The problem is, it doesn’t help us understand what’s wrong with the economy right now.
There is no grand conspiracy or commanding heights...

This is why I pick Herman Cain for president. Because it looks like he shot this ad himself with his iPhone while on a smoke break. Serious hipster cred!

Food documentaries are a big trend aren’t they? I think it’s good that people are expressing concern about the food they eat.

I met Alex the other day. He used a high speed camera and drove a truck around Cambridge. This is the footage he got. Pretty cool, huh?

It looks cool but I’m a bit confused as to what this is a trailer for. I want to see some footage from the film! Or maybe that’s the point?

The use of windows draws me into the video. Its a fragmented experience. I like it.
